What is ABA?

Behavior Analysis is the scientific study of behavior.

 

Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) is the application of the principles of learning and motivation from Behavior Analysis, and the procedures and technology derived from those principles, to the solution of problems of social significance.

 

Many decades of research have validated treatments based on ABA.  Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) is the most recognized and widely accepted evidence-based practice for treating Autism Spectrum Disorder that is safe, effective, and has proven results.

What Does a Behavior Analyst Do?

We help people live the best life they can by teaching them to have more appropriate behavior and less inappropriate behavior.

 

We also train parents, caregivers and staff to implement specific procedures to help serve individuals in a variety of settings.

Mental Health and Psychiatric Services

Our therapists at Clarity Behavioral Health, Inc provide mental health therapy services to individuals 3-years of age and older. The therapists we have on staff to serve you are professionally trained in treating mental illnesses through the utilization of various modalities and theoretical perspectives*. We provide services to individuals coming from many walks of life. Overall, a large portion of our clients seek help in managing their symptoms of Anxiety disorders, Depressive disorders, Obsessive-Compulsive disorders, Bipolar disorders, and Posttraumatic Stress disorders. This is definitely not an all-inclusive list, as our therapists are well-versed and experienced in meeting you where you are and providing individualized care throughout your journey. You are the expert on your life. We are here to learn about YOU and help you recognize that you are valued, important, and strong no matter the trials and hardships you have experienced.
